Get ready for the Defender to make its way to the U.S, maybe even by 2015!

Land Rover Defender Will be Entry-Level Vehicle

The Land Rover Defender is slated for sale here in the U.S., and when it hits dealers it will be the British Brand’s entry-level vehicle.

The Defender could be on sale here by 2015, and it will be based on the DC100 concept that debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt auto show. When it does go on sale, it will undercut the Range Rover Evoque Pure, which starts at $41,995, making it the cheapest product in the Land Rover lineup.

Parent company Tata says that Land Rover is moving towards more volume sales, and looking to move away from being a niche automaker. But he also added, ”We will not be catering to all customers.”
